The Kouga Business Forum is presently investigating the possibility of getting involved in an agribusiness initiative.

The purpose of the project is to assist garden co-operatives to help them become self-reliant and be able to sustain their projects.

With the support and knowledge of the Organic Farms Group, who have specialized the concept regarding production or growing formulas, farmers are given training in agricultural methods and business skills and they are linked to supermarkets that can buy their produce.

Similar farming development sites exist throughout South Africa.
